Job Title: SEN Tutor (Maths & English)
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire (NN18)
Hourly Rate: £25–£30 per hour (depending on experience and location needs)
Hours: 10 hours per week per pupil (5 hours of Maths, 5 hours of English)
About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated and experienced tutors to work with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in the Corby (NN18) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by delivering bespoke, one-to-one learning sessions in English and Maths tailored to each pupil’s individual needs.
Assignments are typically delivered face-to-face in the pupil’s home, school, or community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions for pupils with SEN.
- Support progress in line with each pupil’s EHCP goals.
- Develop learner confidence and resilience in core subjects.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, carers, and schools.
- Provide session feedback and progress updates.
Requirements:
- Experience working within the education sector (e.g. teaching, tutoring, or learning support).
- Proven ability to plan and deliver sessions in English and Maths.
- Understanding of SEN and strategies to support individual learning needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
