Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1-1 or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
  • Adapt lesson plans to address learning difficulties while emphasizing students' strengths.
  • Promote emotional well-being and boost students' confidence.
  • Build strong, positive relationships to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience working with SEN students.
  • Proficiency in teaching core subjects up to the GCSE level.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
