Transform Learning Through Personalised Support – SEN Tutor (Weymouth)

TP Tutors is looking for enthusiastic SEN Tutors in Weymouth to provide one-to-one tuition for learners who benefit from additional support outside of mainstream education.
Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Weymouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time positions available
About the Position
As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with children and young people to deliver engaging sessions tailored to their specific educational needs. You will support learners who may face challenges within traditional school settings and help them make progress both academically and personally.
Sessions may take place in students’ homes or community-based venues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions
- Support learners with needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and EBSA
- Adapt teaching styles and learning materials to individual students
- Build positive relationships that encourage trust and motivation
- Create structured and supportive learning environments
- Promote confidence, independence, and positive engagement with education
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
- Backgrounds in education, tutoring, mentoring, care, or youth support are welcomed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable, and reliable approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Ability to travel throughout Weymouth and nearby areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
