If you have answered yes to the above questions, WE NEED YOU!

TP-Tutors are currently seeking experienced tutors to provide English & Maths tuition in the Northamptonshire area. As a 1:1 tutor you will be planning and implementing catch up programmes to children in care or pupils who are not currently in education.

We have seen an increase in tuition requests to support pupils ahead of their GCSE’s and core subject specialists would be beneficial to fulfil our current demand for education. However, we do also cater to KS1 and KS2 pupils so we welcome applicants from all backgrounds with different experience.

You are able to accept as much or as little work as you desire, and this role is ideal for those seeking flexibility in their hours.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience planning and delivering your own lesson plans
  • Experience with primary or secondary aged children
  • Enthusiastic, engaging and resilient

It is desirable if you:

  • Have experience working with children in a 1:1 tuition capacity
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs or a willingness to learn

In return you will get:

  • A Specialist Recruitment Consultant dedicated to finding you work
  • Up to £25-£30 p/h (PAYE) paid weekly
  • Flexible working pattern
  • Full time or part time availability
  • Access to our CPD Academy
  • Pension Scheme
  • Local and regular work
  • Refer a Friend Scheme

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
