Job Title: SEN Tutor

Location: Leicestershire, Leicester

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Create individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress
Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Maintain accurate records of student achievements and challenges

Required Qualifications:

Hold a relevant teaching qualification
Experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN students

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of different learning styles and needs
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual students
Excellent organisational skills
Empathy and patience in supporting students with diverse needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in Special Education
Experience with assistive technologies
Training in behaviour management strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
