Supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is vital to helping them overcome challenges and unlock their full potential. At TP-Tutors, we’re committed to providing tailored guidance and encouragement to SEN students, ensuring they gain confidence and success in their educational journey.

We’re currently recruiting SEN Tutors in Grantham to support a growing number of learners requiring specialised support. As part of our team, you’ll bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a deep commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Role Details:

  • Pay: £25 - £30 per hour

  • Location: Tutoring may take place in students’ homes or local community venues such as libraries. A full UK driving license is preferred.

  • Hours: Flexible, part-time — tailored around your schedule.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills to connect effectively with SEN students

  • A genuine passion for helping young people with additional needs succeed

  • Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one through TP-Tutors

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), or other additional needs

  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is highly desirable but not essential

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and relevant curriculum adaptations

  • Professional references from your two most recent employers, covering at least 24 months in the last 10 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
