SEN Tutor – Dover
Flexible One-to-One SEN Tuition with TP Tutors
TP Tutors is looking for committed SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition across Dover and the surrounding areas.
We support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and learners who need extra help returning to education. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by providing tailored support that enables learners to thrive.
Location: Dover and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Pay: £25–£30 per hour
Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings or learners' homes

The Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will:
- Provide personalised tuition tailored to each learner's strengths and needs
- Plan engaging sessions that encourage both academic progress and personal development
- Adapt lesson delivery to suit individual learning styles
- Help learners develop confidence, resilience and independence
- Track learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Build strong working relationships with learners, families and education professionals
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, teaching assistance or education support
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
- Ability to travel across Dover and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
