1:1 Tutors Required – Maths & English
Christchurch

Are you an experienced educator seeking flexible, rewarding work where you can make a genuine difference?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with the local authority to provide one-to-one tuition for pupils educated outside of mainstream settings (EOTAS) in Christchurch. We are looking for committed and compassionate tutors to deliver personalised Maths and English support across the area.

Many of the pupils you’ll support have SEND and/or SEMH needs and benefit from a calm, individualised approach to learning. Your role will play a key part in helping them re-engage with education through bespoke catch-up programmes. 

This role is ideal for educators who value flexibility, independence, and making a meaningful impact.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience

  • A patient, compassionate approach and commitment to inclusive education

  • Confidence delivering Maths and/or English sessions

  • Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils (desirable, not essential)

  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
