SEN Tutor Required – CH41, Birkenhead
Make a Difference Through Personalised Learning
We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Tutor to support a learner in CH41, Birkenhead. This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about helping children and young people with additional needs achieve their educational goals.
The Opportunity
As an SEN Tutor, you will deliver tailored one-to-one sessions designed around the student's individual learning requirements. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence, independence, and academic progress.
What You'll Be Doing
✔ Planning and delivering personalised tuition sessions
✔ Adapting lessons to suit the student's learning style and needs
✔ Supporting academic, social, and emotional development
✔ Monitoring progress and maintaining session records
✔ Working collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals where required
We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to teaching
- A teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK

- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language Needs
- SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
- Learning Difficulties and Additional Needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
