SEN Teaching Assistant – High Wycombe

Supply • Long-Term • Permanent Opportunities Available
Primary (Reception – Year 6)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in High Wycombe? Our agency is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate TA who is confident supporting pupils from Early Years through to Year 6, with a strong background in Special Educational Needs.

We are working with a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in the area who are looking for reliable, enthusiastic staff for day-to-day supply, longer-term placements, and potential permanent positions.


About the Role

You will:

  • Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups to help children access the curriculum

  • Assist class teachers with planning and delivering engaging learning activities

  • Help create a safe, positive and inclusive environment

  • Adapt resources and strategies to meet the needs of individual learners


✨ What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN

  • Confidence supporting pupils across Reception to Year 6

  • A patient, caring and proactive approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

  • Availability for supply, long-term bookings or interest in permanent roles

  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
