Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting their education and development?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of mainstream secondary schools across Liverpool, and we are currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join our team for full-time roles starting September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students, support their learning journey, and gain valuable experience in the education sector.


Who we’re looking for:

We welcome applications from individuals with a range of relevant backgrounds, including but not limited to:

  • Recent graduates (particularly in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science or related fields)

  • Youth workers or those with experience in mentoring young people

  • Support workers or those with experience in SEN/SEMH settings

  • Sports coaches or performing arts facilitators

  • Teaching Assistants with previous school-based experience

  • Childcare professionals, including nursery or early years practitioners

  • Individuals with a background in social care or community support

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students across a range of subjects within the classroom

  • Working with small groups or providing 1:1 support where needed

  • Assisting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery

  • Supporting students with additional needs (academic, emotional or behavioural)

  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
