SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

A caring and welcoming primary school, who are committed to producing the best possible experiences for all children. You will be working alongside a talented dedicated team of staff, who aim to ensure that the needs of all of their children are met. This school value each and every child and have high expectations.

They are now searching for the right teaching assistant to fill this position. The role is full time Mon-Fri term time only; to after October half term.

What is required from you?

  • Previous experience in a 1:1 role within an Special Education Needs role
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care or similar
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs/SEN (Autism, Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties or Learning Difficulties) or training in PECS/ Makaton/ BSL / Team Teach is desirable
