Teaching Assistant - SEN Support
Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in Liverpool, Kirkby, who is seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work in their KS1 department. The role is 5 days per week, Mon - Fri. Hours: 8:30am - 15:30pm each day. This role is due to start from February 2022
The role would be supporting numerous pupils with the following needs: ASD (autism), speech and language difficulties and sensory needs. You will also be supporting the KS1 class teacher with general classroom duties. The ideal TA will have previous experience supporting children in Key Stage 1 and be confident with special educational needs.
The Role:
- Full time, Monday - Friday
- Hours approximately 8:30am - 3:30pm
- KS1 Teaching Assistant
- £10 - £11 per hour
- Liverpool, Kirkby area
Responsibilities:
- Providing support within the classroom wherever required
- Delivering activities on one-to-one or small group basis
- Ensuring children are engaged
- Adapting to every individual pupil’s needs
- Helping with behaviour management of children
- Creating displays of children’s work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
