SEN Teaching Assistant – Wilmslow
Location: Secondary School in Wilmslow
Start Date: September | Pay: £89.38 per day | Full-Time (Term-Time Only)

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with additional needs or a strong interest in developing a career in education or SEN support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
-
Assist with differentiated learning tasks and ensure pupils remain engaged
-
Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to implement tailored support strategies
-
Support students with emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour
-
Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, youth work or voluntary roles)

A calm, patient and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
