A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting students with additional needs or a strong interest in developing a career in education or SEN support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

• Assist with differentiated learning tasks and ensure pupils remain engaged

• Work closely with the SENCo and class teachers to implement tailored support strategies

• Support students with emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour

• Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, youth work or voluntary roles)

• A calm, patient and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
