SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School in Wilmslow
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Daily Pay: £89 – £100
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Wilmslow is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised support plans
-
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
-
Support students' emotional and social development as well as academic progress
-
Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom activities to meet individual needs
Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school, care or youth work setting)
-
Calm, empathetic, and understanding approach
-
Good communication and team-working skills
-
Willingness to learn and respond to students’ unique needs
-
A background in psychology, education, or youth support is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
