We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Weymouth. This is your chance to work in a purpose-built, inclusive environment that provides tailored education for pupils aged 2–19 years, covering early years, primary, secondary, and sixth form.


About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils with a range of needs, including:

  • Severe, complex, and profound learning difficulties
  • Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
  • Physical and sensory disabilities
  • Complex healthcare needs

You’ll work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning plans, support positive behaviour strategies, and create a safe, nurturing environment. The school offers sensory rooms, outdoor learning spaces, and therapeutic programs to help every child thrive!


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in SEN(D) settings
  • Understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour support techniques
