Position: 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Spalding

Start Date: ASAP 

Wage: £11.85 - £13 per hour

 

1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant Needed at Spalding Primary School!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives? In this role, you will play a vital part in providing personalised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, utilising your patient and compassionate approach to create an inclusive learning environment, ultimately enabling the student to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support to the designated student, following EHCP plan
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to implement effective strategies
  • Assist with classroom activities and ensure the student’s participation in various subjects
  • Monitor and record the student’s progress, offering feedback to the relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting strategies as needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
