In this role, you will play a vital part in providing personalised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, utilising your patient and compassionate approach to create an inclusive learning environment, ultimately enabling the student to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to the designated student, following EHCP plan
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and progress
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to implement effective strategies
- Assist with classroom activities and ensure the student’s participation in various subjects
- Monitor and record the student’s progress, offering feedback to the relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting strategies as needed
