Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant | South Shields | 3 Days Per Week
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in South Shields on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist with learning activities both in and out of the classroom
- Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet individual needs
Requirements: ✔ Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
✔ A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
