SEN Teaching Assistant
Full-Time/Part-time | Long-Term Role | Immediate Start Available
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Pontefract is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Your Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Support children with a range of needs, including ASD and ADHD
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Help create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

- Experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Right to Work in the UK
- DBS on the update service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
