Join Our Team as an SEN 1:1 Support Assistant!

Location: Plymouth

Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We’re on the lookout for dedicated individuals to work one-on-one with students who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). This is your chance to make a real difference in a child’s life, helping them build confidence, engage in learning, and reach their full potential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔️ Providing 1:1 tailored support to students with Autism, ADHD, and other SEN needs.
✔️ Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
✔️ Supporting students with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
✔️ Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to develop personalised strategies.
✔️ Monitoring progress and celebrating every milestone along the way!

What We’re Looking For:

✨ Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals (education, care, or youth work experience is a plus!).
✨ A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude.
✨ An understanding of SEN conditions and behaviour management techniques.
✨ A commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people.
✨ Relevant qualifications (Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, Health & Social Care) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
