Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant in Oldham Secondary Schools!

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to take on full-time Teaching Assistant roles across Oldham secondary schools, with opportunities available to start as soon as possible.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students—particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)—helping them to thrive both academically and personally. If you have experience with SEN or a genuine passion for supporting young people, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a rewarding school environment.


Key Responsibilities
• Provide targeted 1:1 support and lead small group interventions
• Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, tailored lessons
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour

• Are passionate about helping young people succeed, especially those with SEN
• Show empathy, patience, and resilience
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Are adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
• Live in or can commute to Oldham and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
