SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals for a Secondary School Teaching Assistant role throughout Oldham for this coming September.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring students who require further help in their studies. As this often includes SEN students, the ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge that would aid them with this position. This is a great opportunity to gain further skills and experience in a supportive and friendly environment with work available which fits your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for students.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons.
- Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Ideal Candidates will:
- Have a genuine passion for working with young people and SEN.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
