Teaching Personnel are a talent management consultancy that has partnerships with schools across London, helping those who want to build education/mental health/SEN related careers, find long-term support roles.

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Newham school close to Custom House station
  • Up to £105 per day depending on experience (PAYE) 
  • Perfect for a passionate worker looking to broaden their experience
  • Full-time role starting early January (8:30AM – 3:30PM Monday – Friday)

A SEN Specialist School in the heart of East London is looking for it’s next Teaching Assistant. They are on the hunt specifically for a Graduate with a can-do attitude and interest in the following careers:

  • Primary or SEN Teaching
  • Nurturing Teacher
  • Mental Health Support/Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner
  • Youth Worker or Social Worker
  • Therapeutic Social Worker
  • Behavioural Mentor

Their ideal candidate is a quick-thinker who has experience working with challenging behaviours. Preferably able to work autonomously while maintaining a nurturing & young person-centred approach.

Next steps:

-          Be willing to provide references covering your last 24 months of employment

-          Have a cleared DBS or be willing to apply for one

-          Complete a level 2 safeguarding course funded by Teaching Personnel

-          Attend an interview at our London Central office

-          Have 4x legal documents covering your NI, right to work, photo ID & current address

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
