Role: SEN Teaching Assistant – Full time role beginning in September 2026
Location: Everton (L3)
Work Times: 30 hours per week across 5 days (working time: 8.45am – 3.15pm)
Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel has been contacted by a school in Everton seeking to recruit a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. In the role of an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have direct interaction with the children, ensuring they receive the utmost benefit from their education. These children possess immense potential, and they will depend on your guidance to tailor their learning paths to their specific needs.
The school is centrally located within Everton and has ease of access, with public transport and parking being freely available. The school is classed as ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED. The school aims to be an inclusive school and ensures that all learners are given equality of opportunity and are treated fairly in all aspects of their work. The school also aims to promote and achieve high standards for all by providing teaching and learning of the highest quality.
This role will commence in September 2026, and there will be the possibility of a permanent contract being made available depending on the success of the potential candidate. This will be a five-day per week position covering 30 hours. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
