Start Date: January
Location: Belle Vale, Liverpool (L25)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £15.50 per hour

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Belle Vale area is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January.


About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Implement tailored strategies to support children’s academic and social development.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs).
  • Is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child succeed.
  • Holds relevant qualifications or is willing to undertake training.
  • Can work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
