SEN Teaching Assistants – Leatherhead | September 2026 Start
Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist schools and SEN provisions across Leatherhead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals looking to make a real impact supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH and complex learning difficulties.

The role includes:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  • Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and engagement

  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Working closely with teachers and therapy teams

  • Encouraging independence, confidence and progress

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)

  • Are calm, resilient and adaptable

  • Have a genuine passion for SEN and inclusive education

  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff

  • Are looking for a rewarding and meaningful role

Ideal for candidates with backgrounds in SEN, care, youth work, psychology, support work or coaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
