SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (1:1 Support)
Location: Hillingdon
Position Type: Full-time, Long-term
Start Date: 20th February
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term 1:1 role in a Year 4 class.
The successful candidate will work closely with a pupil who requires additional support to access the curriculum and manage their learning and emotional needs. You will be supported by the class teacher and SENCO and play a vital role in the child’s educational development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN

Supporting learning activities in line with the class teacher’s planning

Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
-
Encouraging independence and engagement in learning
-
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN professionals
Requirements:
-
Previous experience supporting children with SEN
-
Must hold relevant qualifications
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Commitment to a full-time, long-term role
Pay:
-
Pay to be negotiated based on experience
-
All pay is processed through PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
