Early Years SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant – Lancaster & Surrounding Areas
Location: Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth
Start Date: Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities

Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? Are you passionate about helping young learners thrive in a nurturing environment?
Teaching Personnel is seeking SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants to work in early years settings across Lancaster and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need additional support.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in early years classrooms
- Assist with individual learning plans and tailored interventions
- Support with speech, language, and communication development
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to create an inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, speech & language needs, developmental delays)
- Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and child development
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
- Based in or able to commute to Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, Carnforth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
