About the School

This specialist, all-boys school supports vulnerable and reluctant learners and gives them the opportunity to achieve happiness, confidence, and long-term success.

Pupils are taught in small, structured yet relaxed classes, where strong relationships with staff are central to progress. Clear routines, realistic targets, and consistent encouragement help replace previous negative experiences with positive educational outcomes and measurable success.

The school’s core focus is on developing self-esteem, self-confidence, and academic progress, supporting pupils to move forward into meaningful and successful adult lives.

The Role

As an SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs

  • A full UK driving licence (essential due to rural location)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (ideal to fast-track the role)
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Full-time availability and commitment

Why Apply?

  • Make a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable young people
  • Work in a supportive, values-driven specialist setting
