SEN Teaching Assistant – Godalming

We are currently seeking caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join supportive educational settings in Godalming. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

ADHD
-
Speech and Language Needs
-
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
-
Moderate Learning Difficulties
Responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Assisting with classroom activities and learning programmes
-
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
-
Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
-
Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:

Patient, compassionate, and reliable

Passionate about supporting children with additional needs

Strong communicators with a positive attitude

Able to work collaboratively as part of a team

Experienced in education, care, youth work, or support roles (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
