SEN Teaching Assistant – Dewsbury & Batley
Flexible Work | Specialist Support | Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in Primary Schools across Dewsbury, Batley, and surrounding areas. Ideal for experienced SEN staff, support workers, or those passionate about inclusive education.
The Role:
- Support pupils with SEN (e.g. ASC, SEMH, ADHD)
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support
- Assist with tailored learning and behaviour plans
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
