Behaviour Support Assistant – De‑escalation / Emotional Regulation (Darwen)

£90–£100 per day | Training provided

Do you have strong behaviour management?
Are you confident supporting children through emotional or behavioural challenges?

Several Darwen schools are looking for Behaviour Support Assistants who can help pupils regulate, stay engaged and feel safe in school.

⭐ What we need:

Someone who is calm under pressure
Strong communication with teaching staff
Confidence with de‑escalation strategies
Experience with SEMH preferred (youth work, mentoring, sports coaching all count)

⭐ You must be:

Responsive (quick communication is essential)
Consistent (children rely on you daily)
Available at least 3 days per week

⭐ Quick screening questions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
