SEN Teaching Assistant – Christchurch

Pay: £93.62 per day
Hours: 6.5 hours per day 
Location: Christchurch - BH23

I’m currently working with a lovely mainstream primary school in Christchurch who are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This would suit someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to make a genuine difference to their day-to-day learning and development.

You’ll be supporting pupils who have additional needs, both within the classroom and through 1:1 and small-group support. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to help children feel settled, included and able to get the most out of their time at school.

The school is looking for someone who is:

• Confident working with children who have additional needs
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Reliable and consistent in their approach
• A good team player who is happy to work alongside teachers and support staff
• Passionate about helping children develop both academically and personally

Previous experience working with SEN is preferred, but I’m also happy to speak with people who have relevant experience working with children and are keen to develop their career within education.
