Calling all Psychology, Criminology & Sociology Graduates

 

Are you a Psychology, Criminology or Sociology graduate looking to take your first steps into gaining valuable experience supporting children in education?

This is an exciting opportunity for graduates seeking paid experience in SEN, Educational Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, teaching and teaching support within a 3-19 years old provision based in Cardiff.

 

The role will involve:

-          Providing 1:1 and/or small-group support

-          Working alongside teachers and SLT to support in key areas

-          Support pupils with emotional regulation and engagement

-          Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment

-          Applying theoretical knowledge of your specialist subject

 

What we’re looking for:

-          A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs

-          Empathy, resilience and patience

-          Strong communication skills

-          A proactive and supportive nature

-          A desire to learn and develop professionally

 

What you need:

-          An enhanced DBS on the update service (We can help you apply for this!)

-          Education workforce council application (We can help you apply for this!)

-          2 referee’s which are able to provide references

-          A positive attitude and a willingness to learn in an alternative environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
