Are you compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We're building an incredible new team of Teaching Assistants to work across both mainstream and specialist settings — and we’d love to hear from you!


About the Role

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll support students aged 5–16 with a range of SEN, including:

  • Mental health needs (e.g. anxiety, depression)

  • Physical disabilities

  • Communication difficulties

  • Emotional and behavioural challenges

You will:

  • Work 1:1 or with small groups

  • Support teachers in delivering a personalised curriculum

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students

  • Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (term-time only)

  • Flexible part-time schedules available

  • Opportunities for permanent placement for the right candidates


What We’re Looking For:

  • Passionate individuals who genuinely care about education

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • Experience with SEN or challenging behaviours is a bonus — but not essential

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a team-focused mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
