JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location:
Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Bramley
Job Type:
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£83.85 - £110 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN
- Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with personal care and medical needs as required
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Education:
Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or above
Experience:
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
- Training in manual handling and first aid
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily within a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for occasional additional hours or weekend work
- Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
