SEN Teaching Assistant – Bournemouth
Long-Term Opportunity | Mainstream Primary School | Immediate Start
One of our mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth is currently seeking a committed, experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for a dedicated SEN TA who is looking to make a meaningful impact by providing consistent support to pupils with additional needs within a supportive and well-structured school environment.
Key responsibilities:

Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN

Supporting children with a range of additional needs, both academically and emotionally
-
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support strategies
-
Promoting positive behaviour and fostering an inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
-
Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting
-
Is patient, nurturing and adaptable in their approach
-
Demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusion and safeguarding
-
Is reliable and committed to a long-term role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
