Salary: £14.30 - £15.30 per hour (paid via PAYE with Teaching Personnel)
Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackpool that is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated KS2 Hub Provision. The hub supports pupils with a range of additional needs who benefit from a quieter, structured environment that helps them engage positively with their learning.
The school is looking for a calm, consistent and skilled practitioner who can build strong relationships and provide high‑quality support to pupils with varying SEN needs.
The Role:
- Supporting KS2 pupils within a small SEN provision/hub
- Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual needs
- Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties
- Helping children with emotional regulation and behaviour support
- Following EHCP targets and personalised plans
- Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers and external professionals
- Helping maintain a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment for pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Experience supporting SEN in a school or provision setting is essential
✔ Confident supporting learning, communication and emotional needs
✔ Patient, resilient and consistent
✔ Able to adapt tasks to individual needs and follow tailored plans
✔ Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a supportive team
✔ Passionate about helping children overcome barriers and reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
