SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Blackpool (September 2025 Start)
Location: Blackpool | Start Date: September 2025 | Job Type: Full-time | Salary: £13.74 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism spectrum condition (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to deliver tailored interventions and provide one-to-one or small group support to help every child reach their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting children with SEN in a school, care or similar setting.

A calm, patient and empathetic approach.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

A genuine passion for inclusive education.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
