Exciting Opportunity for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant.
A school based in Everton (L5) are looking to appoint for an experienced SEN TA with a clear understanding of trauma and the management of challenging behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator looking for a longer-term commitment within a welcoming RC Faith School.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant.
Location: Mainstream Primary School in Everton (L5)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 15.15pm.
Rate of Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to a child with significant SEN requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and differentiating learning for a child who struggles accessing this within a classroom setting.
- Providing nurture and care to the child, who has significant SEMH needs.
- Liaising with other members of staff to ensure that the child receives consistency across the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
