Working as part of a skilled and supportive staff team, you will deliver tailored lessons, adapt learning materials to meet individual needs, and contribute to positive outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively using positive behaviour support strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to individual learning plans and reviews.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the location of the school and the nature of the role.
