Make a Difference Every Day
As an SEN Supply Teacher, you'll play a vital role in supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve success in the classroom.
You'll have the opportunity to work with pupils who may require additional support relating to:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Speech and Language difficulties
- Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties
- Complex additional needs
No two placements are the same, giving you the chance to develop your skills across a variety of settings and age groups.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across your preferred key stages
- Adapt learning to meet individual pupil needs
- Foster a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and school leaders
- Promote pupil wellbeing and engagement
- Leave clear handovers to ensure continuity of learning
- Mark and assess work in line with school policies

Who We're Looking For
- Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Passionate educators who enjoy making a positive impact
- Teachers with SEN experience or a strong interest in specialist education
- Adaptable professionals who can confidently work in different school environments
- Individuals with excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
