Job description

Some teachers follow a curriculum. You shape one. Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate SEN Teachers for specialist provisions and mainstream schools with SEN units across Crawley for the 2026/27 academic year.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES

  • Planning and delivering differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting strategies accordingly
  • Collaborating with support staff, SENCOs, and families
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience in SEN settings preferred, though not essential
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and student-centred learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
