SEN General Cover Teacher – Secondary/SEN

Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Required: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


Are you a flexible and committed educator with QTS, looking for a full-time role in Liverpool?
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a SEN General Cover Teacher to work across Secondary Schools and SEN provisions, supporting students with a range of additional needs. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and adaptable across subjects. 


Role Highlights:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to SEN learners
  • Provide cover across a variety of subjects and classrooms
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with SENCOs and support staff to meet individual needs
  • Contribute to the wider school community and pastoral care

Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience or interest in working with students with SEN (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
