Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Long Eaton, Derbyshire
Salary: MPS/UPS (Depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-Term

We are working in partnership with inclusive and supportive specialist schools in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, that are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team. These schools are committed to creating nurturing learning environments where pupils with additional needs can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and SEMH
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress
  • Monitor and assess pupil development, adapting teaching strategies where required
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and promote an inclusive learning culture

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs or a genuine passion for SEN education
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is patient, compassionate, and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
