The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will play a key role in helping students achieve academic, social, and personal success within a supportive learning environment.
We Are Looking For Teachers With Experience Supporting:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)

Complex learning needs

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

ADHD and associated learning needs
-
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Key Responsibilities
-
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons.
-
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
-
Develop and implement personalised learning strategies.
-
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
-
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
-
Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
-
Previous experience teaching children with SEN, either within specialist or mainstream settings.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
-
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
-
Commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners.

ECTs with relevant SEN placement experience are encouraged to apply.
