SEN Teacher – RIGS Unit (BH9)

Are you an experienced and confident SEN Teacher ready to lead and inspire within a specialist setting?
One of our fantastic schools located in BH9 is seeking a strong and dedicated SEN Teacher to lead their RIGS unit. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) and offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to take ownership of the unit and make a real difference to pupils with additional needs.
The Role:

Leading and managing the RIGS unit on a day-to-day basis

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
-
Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, ensuring they are able to access learning in a safe and structured environment

Working closely with support staff, SENCO and senior leadership

Monitoring progress and adapting provision to meet EHCP targets
We Are Looking For:
-
A qualified teacher (QTS) with strong SEN experience
-
Proven ability to lead a small specialist provision or nurture-style setting
-
Confident behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach
-
Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and inclusive practice
-
Someone proactive, organised and able to run the unit effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
