Job description

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking to support pupils with a range of complex needs? Or are you a qualified teacher looking for a change and have a passion to support SEN pupils?

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an SEN teacher in a nurturing school supporting children aged 11-19 in Wakefield. 

Teaching duties:

  • To deliver high quality teaching and learning to pupils with additional needs
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the school’s aims, policies and schemes
  • Clear structures of lessons that maintain pace
  • Able to adapt lessons where necessary

Must have:

  • Must hold a QTS
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum of three months UK residency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
