About the role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development.
-
Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure personalised learning plans are met.
-
Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, adapting strategies to best support their individual needs.
-
Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
Person specification:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
-
Experience working with children with SEN in a Primary setting.
-
Strong knowledge of strategies to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD or other additional needs.
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-
A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
-
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
