Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff
Contract: Full Time, Until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity to support and inspire learners with additional needs?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Teacher to work within primary schools across the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. This role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning through tailored support and inclusive teaching approaches.

About the Role
• Plan and deliver adapted, engaging lessons to meet a range of special educational needs.
• Support pupils with ALN/SEN through differentiated teaching strategies.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes progress and independence.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.
We’re looking for someone who is:
• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Experienced or highly interested in SEN / ALN provision.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
• Skilled at building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Confident in using differentiated and therapeutic approaches.
• Welsh-speaking skills are not essential, but would be a great bonus.
Requirements
Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support for obtaining the following:
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Two professional references covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
